Basset agility

Taking The Lead is an all-breed dog training facility proudly providing the community with up-to-date, proven-effective, and humane dog-training methods!

We are located in Marshall, MI just off of I-69 a few miles north of I-94. Our large indoor training building is heated/air-conditioned. Our outdoor ring is regulation sized. Each year we host two Canine Performance Events (CPE) agility trials.

Our instructors are Certified Pet Dog Trainers (CPDT), endorsed by the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI), and AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluators.

Happy customers
Taking the Lead offers group classes such as obedience (basic to competitive), Canine Good Citizen test, rally obedience, puppy classes, conformation, and agility (basic to competitive). We also offer private lessons and pre-purchase counseling.
